Need help identifying Mares 1st stage

A while ago I purchase a Mares Proton metal regulator and I've forgotten what the first stage is!?! I believe it to be a V32 first stage but I have friends that say it's a MR42.
The first stage doesn't have any model identifiers on it. Here are a couple of pics.
Any help would be appreciated, thanks

It's a v42, I have one. The MR42 was a later release that wasn't sold with the proton. I can also say with certainty that it's not a v32 as I have one of those too.
