Need Information on Four Seasons Explorer

Does any one know if the Four Seasons Explorer in the Maldives is still operating. It is still on the Four Seasons web site, but their telephone booking office claim it is not operating. Has it been bought by another operator? Has it been renamed? I really want to book it for April.

Any information will be welcomed.

The boat is still definitely owned by Four Seasons – I talked to the general manager at DEMA a few months back – but as the Four Seasons Island resort it is based out of is still closed as a result of the damage done by the tsunami, that might be why they are saying it's not running - it hasn't got a base.

I'll email him and see what he comes back with.
