Has everyone heard about this? A monk seal was caught in a gill net off Waimanalo last month (I only just read about it tonight). This is CRAZY! It just drives me insane that some idiots would leave thier net in the water unattended.
Please go out of your way to contact your representative and the DLNR in support of MUCH stricter netting rules in Hawaii
