We saw a new Jelly in Carmel last weekend. It's unlike anything I've ever seen and I can't find it in the Pacific Pelagic invertibrates book or on any web site. Hope someone can give me an ID.





It was about 5-6 inches in diameter and didn't appear to have tentacles.
 
btw, I have no idea unless it fell off some spaceship flying around the left coast...:).....It is pretty-- whatever it is......
