New to the underwater world

Hi. I've just finished up my advanced open water course and am looking to dive more. This means buying equipment. I have no idea what to investigate or what to avoid. Any advice on dive computers, BCDs, regulators, and dry suits are welcome. Thanks for all your help.

Hi jmccel. Welcome to ScubaBoard. There is tons of advice if you check the various subforums on each of the various equipment you mention. Here is a link to those forums: The Equipment of Scuba Diving All the options out there make for a confusing array of choices. A good starting point is to say "I want my equipment to do x, y or z". But to get to that point, you might need to just spend some time reading posts in those forums so you can figure out what sort of questions you need to ask. Good luck!
