They setup a new underwater live ocean camera under the Pompano Beach pier.
Kinda nice if you want a near shore instant visibility report for conditions.
Or you want a quick work break to soak in some salt life.

Mounted on the east side underwater bridge leg? FDOT approval would be impossible, but a gofundme would be be flooded with cash quickly for the hardware installation Even the Palm Beach County, Department of Environmental Resources Management who pay for the inlet cameras would sponsor the yearly maintenance fees like they do the other cams.

Deerfield pier will be closing for a year for renovations. Date to be determined by permitting process
