Started diving in 1978 PADI certified by El Mar diving Mesa, Arizona.
Many trips to SoCal and sea of Cortez then off to a US ARMY stint for 10 years with great quarry dives in Germany, North Sea, Then Fort Bragg North Carolina (graveyard of teh Atlantic). 3 years in Okinawa with many trips to Kwajalien, Guam, Tinian, Siapan, Subic Bay, PI, Thailand, PNG. Then back to Bragg for 3 more long years.
Advanced to Divemaster in Padi 1987. Dive medic/Hyperbaric course at Flemming Key, Key West 1994. (Loved the Draager)
Planned to make a living as a dive instructor/dive sup but decided to pursue medical carrer as a physician assistant. Worked family practice, then ER, now back to adult medicine at the VA.
Diving the last 10 years has been limited to a family vacations. Would like to get more involved in technical diving.
Unfortunantly wife and dtr have no intrest in diving or the ocean, so land locked in Arizona.
