Nikonos SB 105 strobe /canon PowerShot G7

can a Nikonos SB 105 strobe work with a Canon PowerShot G7 (CANON UNDERWATER HOUSING WP-DC11) ?

I have not tried the G7 but I think that the strobe will work with the camera in manual and the strobe in slave move. It will work on the Canon 640 and the 710IS. I have used this strobe and these cameras underwater and it definitely works.

Set up the strobe facing into the lense at a distance of several feet with the camera and lens settings as above. If the strobe washes out the picture, it works.
