I just don't log dives
I just installed a Dive Rite balanced pee valve in my dry suit. My plan was to just not hook it up if I were to do a short dive and not want to mess with the condom catheters. I asked around and most people said that's fine but wont it allow air to vent when I equalize the suit? Should I plug it when not in use?

Thanks!

Yes, get one of those red hose thread protectors and put over the barb.

Or the rubber part of an eye-dropper.

Take a moment and consider the check valve(s) in that balanced valve. Would capping the nipple create any sealed compartments? Sealed compartments with a check valve allowing air in but not out? Be careful, you might end up blowing out the check valves in the balanced pee valve.
