From the Port Captain:
Good day!
As a preventive measure and due to the increase in northerly winds, the port is closed to vessels less than 15 meters in length and recreational aquatic activities are suspended starting at 8:00 a.m. today, Friday, April 12. The corresponding letter will be sent shortly.

Exactly as I predicted several days ago....closed
Saturday's forecast looks very similar to Friday's, with the max wind speeds increasing a bit and progressively shifting towards the SSW into Sunday. Saturday might be a good day to go for a cenotes trip or to the east side for a few hours. Either is a nice way to spend a port closure. The Cinepolis offerings in English don't start until 9:00PM.
