Didn't read much there that would concern me as a tourist. Druggies kill druggies.

The guy that got cacked was a simple local beach bum that apparently had himself a side job of sorts. Beach combing for dropped-off bales of drugs is an even ratio in terms of profit to risk. High on both counts.

The most telling part of the article was the claim by the condo security guard that he sells pot to some residents. These wealthy owners will be the first ones to scream like children when they are visited by crime... That they themselves have invited in, "by just buying some pot".

Avoid drugs, bar scenes, locals that try to be your new best friend. Be a tourist.
