does anyone know if Diving Concepts is out of business? We have several dealers who cannot get a response from them. Their phone is still active (as of 9am PST today anyway) many of us have left several messages over the last 3 or 4 weeks with no response to any of us???

[h=2]Diving Concepts Files for Bankruptcy (updated 4/9/2013)[/h]
After hearing from several dealers that they could not reach Diving Concepts for orders or to retrieve customers’ items sent for repair, ScubaGadget has found court records indicating that they have filed for Chapter 7 (or “liquidation&#8221:wink: bankruptcy. The filing was made California Central Bankruptcy Court on 5 April 2013 with a case number of 9:13 -bk-10894. For those that may have outstanding business with Diving Concepts the contact information for the court appointed trustee is listed as Jeremy W. Faith at (818) 705-2777.
We asked Mr. Faith about the plight of customers and dealers who have suits in for repair with Diving Concepts. He stated that if they contact him and have “ironclad proof of ownership” they should be able to get the suite returned. He recommended that other creditors hire a lawyer.
We contacted the office of Karen L Grant, the lawyer representing Diving Concepts and she reiterated that all contact regarding the company should go through the trustee.
Diving Concepts main business was the manufacture and sales of a line of drysuits and associated products. This move is not a total surprise to many Diving Concepts dealers and customers as they have regularly had service problems with the company over the past few years.
