With the good visibility we've had recently I thought it was time to get some Giant Sea Bass and Broomtail Grouper photos from Hermosa Artificial Reef. The large fish must have thought otherwise. Visibility was twenty feet on the bottom but the largest fish I saw was a female Sheephead. Nudibranchs were laying eggs all over the reef but I had a 15mm lens today.

It was the first time in years that I didn't see at least one Giant Sea Bass here. Maybe they heard about someone's secret lobster spot and are hanging out there.

Water was 58° with 71° at the surface.
