I recently bought Oceanic Spring Straps and was wondering how do I attached the "C" wire on the fin. How do I detach the pin holding the "C" wire from the straps so I could connect it to the rubber mounting on the fin? Please see attached picture

I have the same straps. I do not think they were made exactly for the Jetfins, even though they fit very nicely.
First you take out the metal thingies on your jet fins. You do this by grinding the tip of the pins that have been punched in the middle. Be careful not to slip and grind your fins.
Next, you have to take the pins off your straps. Do this any way you can. A pair of pliers will do the trick. You throw all these things away now.
Somewhere in the plastic bag from the LDS are 4 aluminium bars. Put these in the hole of the straps so that they are centered and they hold the springs. Bend them over into the holes of the jetfins. Clamp them in so they are nice and tight.
Kind of a do it yourself thing. Better yet. Bring your fins to the LDS and they will put them on for you.
