I hope the weather indeed follows the forecast, I am scheduled to drive all week, including Thursday night.

Thanks Capt Jim. Just hoping for decent or better. :)

Hope your schedule is working out Capt Jim. We went out to Elbow reef Thursday morning and it was less than ideal, however I enjoyed myself.

Visibility was pretty good, although I'm no expert.

The Capt said we had 3 foot seas and choppy. Wind was about 10-15 knots. There was a pretty stiff current.

There were 5 divers including me and my girl. One of them barfed after the first dive, but went down again where conditions were better for nausea than on the small boat. We did almost no surface interval because of the chop and we were only in 30 feet of water. It was my first boat dive, and 3rd time in salt water, so I had a blast. :D The dives were about an hour long each.

First we did City of Washington. Saw the deepest blue Parrot fish. My girl commented on it, and she's done a lot of diving in the Pacific (Yap, Thailand, Philippines, Fiji, Chuuk, etc.) and all over the Caribbean.

Second dive was South Ledges, a modified drift due the current.

I had fun, but we didn't go out Friday morning. Instead we got up early and went to BHB which is halfway home. Turned out to be a good day there.

There have been some bumpy days lately.

Glad you had fun!

Irma is ugly.
