It really depends on where you are going and what dive operator you are using.

Most land based GREAT dive operators will have almost any spare part you could dream of or atleast a work-around (ie rental, service, replacement)

Extracurricular activities like photography and spearfishing really are best left up to the diver since there are so many different systems if looking for an EXACT replacement.

Cozumel diving with Scuba Club Cozumel

Your going to Cozumel....if you happen to need something in an emergency, I think you’ll find it at the Local DS....don’t overpack!

I bring a third reg and some o rings and a mask strap....that’s it for extras.

That's like a bicycle valve, right? What's that used for in relation to diving?

It’s located in the low pressure hose for the inflator valve and is what makes it work.

Google "save-a-dive kit." There are a number of SB threads with great lists of things to include in one's save-a-dive kit. Not to insult your Google-fu, but you can limit the Google search to this site by including "site:scubaboard.com" before the keywords. Okay, here's just the first few of what comes up:

"Save a Dive" kit check list

Save a dive kit for travel?

Save a Dive Kit (tools)

What goes in a travel save a dive kit

Save A Dive kit

Essentials for a save a dive kit.

Thank you that's an awesome list off to read them I really appreciate it
