Old but not yet vintage strobes?

What type of arm mount do you use for these beasts?

On ebay I have seen a few unknown (to me) third party ball mounts.

I have both a home grown S&S mount as well as an official S&S mount. Pics and details to follow...

The pic above shows the official S&S how do I mount this response to the Nikonos invasion. The small aluminum bit in the middle provides a SB 105 to Sea & Sea YS mount.

I forget the part #
 
We other people with spare S&S bits and a Dremel may have come up with this alternate mount:

And now to try to deflect this thread away from the omnipotent nikonos SB 105's ...

Anyone have their favorite pocket modelling strobe? Or anything else?

Speakong of modelling strobes... It was many years before I understood the concept of the free standing modeling strobe. An extra strobe "over there pointing here".

Lately I have been able to hand off either a YS 15 or a YS 30 strobe to my model of choice. My pics still look like crap...
