OMS Manifold recall

There is a recent recall on 200 and 300 BAR OMS rotating cross manifolds. Full details here http://www.omsdive.com/manifold-recall.html

Apparently undersized O rings installed on some of them.

Actually the recall is from 2001.

My source say it's from Sept 04. The dates at the top of the page link to older recall's. If you check I'm pretty sure this product OMS ® is pleased to introduce the new (3) O-Ring per side Rotation Cross Bar manifold in a 200 Bar version (this will accommodate both DIN and Yoke Regulators) and a 300 Bar design (accommodates only DIN). didn't exist in 2001

Yes... This is current. About 3 weeks ago they called us on it and said it's not a question of if the maniforld would fail... but when. Good thing we keep records, so we instantly contacted the individuals who had purchased them.

Another good reason to buy from an authorized dealer. Face to face or via the internet it doesn't matter. A grey market dealer might not get that phone call from thier source.
