Penguin Diving services in Scarborough (the first store I started);

I did my first certification training with Penguin Diving may moons ago.
Got a little nostalgic for the shop since I will hopefully returning to Bimini Bahamas where we did our Open Water dives as a special trip. That was back in 1980 I believe.

Was an unforgettable moment in a young divers life.
 
I have no idea about the dive shops in Ontario but a lot of divers and shops from Qc travel over for diving every weekend which is good for tourism. Our local club dose most of it's diving out of Brockville and the outings and charters are mostly full.
 
Wow, this thread has been dead for 17 years. We're still diving so to answer the OP's question, I guess the Ontario dive shops haven't all closed. :)
