For those of you assigned to the region --
It is time to update the web site. We have spent considerable time and effort in our municipality conducting exploratory dives. Great news on two issues. The first item of interest is the SCUBA DIVER FEE. We were able (through help all over the Philippines) to convince our law makers to change the rule to 200 pesos for a 30 day permit. That is a HUGE accomplishment. The second item of interest is the actual land for the resort complex. We have identified the area for the new construction. Now we need to go through the environmental approval process and other similiar challenges before the first shovel is stuck in the dirt. Overall, the trip was successful and a lot of fun. We made over 30 dives in 11 days and enjoyed every second of it. Stop by the web site and check out the movies, pictures, and write ups. Your comments are always appreciated.
