I've was toying with upgrading an old copy of Photoshop to CS but balking at the price when my wife's new computer arrived with a trial copy of Corel PSP X.

After using it for a couple of weeks I am definitely not forking out for CS and I will probably drop PS Elements on the other computers in favor of PSP X.

It is MUCH easier to get used to (who has the time to wrestle with a software tool?) and help is more useful and accessible.

The tools are very competent and intuitive and it has much better layer and object handling (more like PS Illustrator) all in one simple package.

The internal image browser is fast and very usable.

All in all I'm really impressed, particularly for $75.....
