PBM Flying Boat Wrecks

Hello WWII Aviation Wreck Enthusiasts,

Are there any PBM Mariners, “Flying Boats” wrecks with in dive depths?

We have three known intact PBMs in Kwajalein’s lagoon. The models are PBM-3D, PBM-3R and PBM-5.

If anyone is interested my dive buddy, Dan Farnham, wrote an article on Kwajalein’s PBMs.

I thought there was one in Lake Mead? less well known than the B29.

There is a well preserved PBM Mariner in about 70' of water in Lake Washington in Seattle. It's a great dive if you have access to a boat.

There's part of one in Saipan. Also an Emily, a Mavis, parts of two Coronados, and a Jake. The Jake is fairly intact, but the flying boats are mostly all pretty broken up, with only the wing intact.
