Peacock Springs update

While the road work continues, the decision has been made to open Orange Grove ... as the work has proceeded past that point. Also, for this Memorial weekend only ...all the Peacock systems will be open ...then back to only Orange Grove being open starting Tuesday the 27th until the work is finished . I'd still suggest calling the park for additional or changing information!

There was a post on CDF that said peacock 1 is open for good!

Peacock is completely open.

Hey Jim lucky you.We dove O.G Sunday.Basin vis was 8 ft.Cave maybe 12ft.Peacock basin 2ft.Cavern 20ft.Cave about 20ft.

Hmmm.....Maybe a Grand Traverse is in order
At least the viz will be good on the starting end.
I think it's going to take a while for the P1 side to get up to snuff , so to speak.
I chatted quickly with a couple of people that did P3 this weekend.
It's divable at least.

If I get into the system this next weekend , I will post a report.

I also heard that Peacock is now OPEN OPEN !!!

Did Cow last night.... beautiful vis... a little milky toward 1000'. We had the cave to ourselves. That first 100 feet is a nice little twist.
