Perdix ai compass question

All:
I have noticed that when you go into your compass and mark a heading, it cannot be removed. You can mark another heading but the heading is there until you mark another one.

Is there a way to remove the heading?

I use a mechanical compass for that. The computer one discombobulates me...........Its not the computers fault.

There is not a 'remove heading' option.
I mark new headings, as required, for the current dive. No need to clear it.
It resets for the next time I turn it off and on.

I am sensing a little OCD.

Old thread, I know, but in case it shows up on someone's search:

Go in to Setup mode, turn the compass off, then turn it on again and the compass marking will be cleared. I have found no other way to do it. The Teric, on the other hand, has an 'Unmark' button.
