Perdix AI transmitter serial number issue

This post is for any Perdix AI users that encounter the following

Issue:

The menu system only allows six digits to be entered for the transmitter. The transmitter serial number does not look like that in the manual. The transmitter serial number is:

FK-000607 0817

The serial number that needs to be entered is 000607. The 0817 number may be the manufacturing date.

I just look at what's on the TX module itself

Yes, the last 4 digits are the manufacture date

The etching on the transmitter has changed from what is illustrated in the manual. Before, the manufacture date was not on the transmitter at all. Now, the manufacture date is now included on the transmitter and the barcode sticker after the serial number.
