On my last dive, which was a drift dive on the Rainbow River in Florida with a max depth of 25', my new Peregrine computer logged the dive as about 20 separate dives. Every time that I can to the surface, the dive basically ended and restarted once I went deeper. I am sure it's a setting in the computer but I can't figure out how to change it so that a shallow drift dive logs as one dive. Any suggestions?

Yup. You need to set your end dive delay. I have mine at something like 5 minutes.

I had to extend my delay while working on buoyancy issues. Same issue. One dive became three dives as I neared the surface a couple of times.

yep, what they said. set it to 600 seconds

I set mine to 900 secs when doing cenotes but 600 for regular ocean dives
