Hi
Travelling to Perth later this week. Will be snorkelling only can anyone give me advice on places to go please?
Also any advice on what kit to bring appreciated.

7mm - try around north moll for sea dragons, Kwinana Bulk handling jetty, Ammo Jetty and if you can snag enough time and a decent day perhaps head over to Rottnest island.

I am pretty much a wimp though...quite a few other divers around in 5mm - water should start to warm up soon

He's a whimp ! . 5mm or a 3mm with a rashy should be ok. Either of the Moles at Freo will be ok for snorkeling, as will MAAC reef and possibly Methams Pool.

Better off providing a water temperature so that the OP can decide for themselves what thickness of wetsuit to use .... or even a drysuit
