Photoshop Elements question ?

A friend of mine has Elements 5 and was asking if Photoshop Actions would work with Elements?

I've never used Elements so I was wondering if anyone is familiar with it and knows if you can use Actions with it?

You will need to add some free software to be able to access actions in Elements.
