i like phuket diving but hate the place.
tried at least 30 times over 20 years to have a good time but failed, and even when James Bond was paying it didn't work for me.tried hard though
not quite Pattaya or Bangkok, but not an island either,
bit wishy washy all round, apart from the huge selection of ladyboys but that's not exactly my thing, no offence to those that it is intended

If you didn't enjoy Phuket 20 years ago...when the Expat and Bounty Bar were on Bangla and the only disco was the Crocodile and Crazy Corner at Kata was truly crazy and the roads to Kata and Kamala from Patong were challenging dirt roads, and you could see Leopard Sharks snorkeling at Kalim Beach ect,ect,ect... you were looking in the wrong place!

I did like the diving and the place 18 years ago though..
Yes in those days when you could get a "Khai Jiao Het Kee Khwai" and you could see all manners of little fishies and nudis

Essex is far better than moose land .........Come to think of it so is Phuket just.

I can see a canada versus england thread coming on now.. mosse land and essex is no comparison. Even south end is better then essex, that voice on those women is awful
