Please help me dive Izu Peninsula. English speaker visiting Japan for the first time.

I will be in Tokyo in mid May. This is my first time to Japan and I do not know any Japanese. I would really like to dive somewhere and Izu looks to be closest. I have read it can be difficult for foreigners to get a dive there.

Can you help me figure it out? I wrote to Marscuba and a couple Facebook groups and I am waiting on replies.

I would need to dive on Wednesday or Thursday around May 21-22.

I will ill bring most of my own gear because I doubt they carry my size in Japan
