From the bulldog with Severe demodectic mange and blinded from ulcers, to the endless numbers of kittens, bruno is the nurse.

Prayers continuing. :hugs:

Better! - may go home this week.
Bruno cannot leave the little ones alone. This is Pom Pom. She is a rescue who has a shattered pelvis and lost one rear leg. She is under KARE, here. She has been screaming for Bruno. The vet TEC had her resting outside her cage whil she cleaned up and Ms. P. Dragged herself to Bruno. He is a magnet for the hurt or little. He is much happier too.

Update

We have a harness that we are using to support his front body weight and Emma at RAH found this rear leg support harness. We use them to help him stand and bear weight. He cannot move his legs and feet yet, but each day makes more progress. Hopefully, he comes home by Saturday. we can do most things he needs by then.

Bruno is slowly gaining mobility.

And Bruno finally gets a kitty visit. They let the little orphan hang out with Bruno. It was Bruno's reward for working so hard this morning. Baby steps.

As you might imagine, it is hugely expensive to keep an animal at a vet's, just like a human hospital stay. A warm thank you and :grouphug: for all your help. Y'all are just spectacularly awesome! :worship:

Oh, no! The vet says TWO MORE Days. :depressed:

Sunday Bruno update.
He has now been in the vet for 11 days. I am back in school so I cannot be there in the morning. He did take food from them. I came right after school and he ate for me. I hoisted him up and he balanced on his back legs alone. His front still needed placement, but I held him by myself. That is great. But still not able to urinate without catheter. But he has to come home tomorrow. This should be interesting. He is now tired and just wants to lay on me and have comfort. He is now snoring.

Jax' Note: I think Bruno is going to need more help than we first thought. :(

Whoot! Bruno is HOME!!! And he whizzed on his own!!!!

Well, okay, it was on the floor; Mom was so very happy to clean it up!

Across the World, People Cheered for Dog Pee!

Seriously.

Bruno came home -- even though he hadn't whizzed on his own. Anyone who has been anesthetized or otherwise knows how important it is to urinate on your own before you can go home.

So, Bruno came home. He was so happy, as you can see from the photo.

And a couple of hours later, he went all over the floor.

ZenDiver Mom cleaned it up and posted the good news, and people around the world cheered.

Isn't life just awesome? :D :thumb:

Bruno: Good Morning!! I just managed to push up on my front legs!
Haley is showing me the new tiny kitten she took to bottle feed. I will do anything to get close to the babies.
