    For some reason it stopped on Scubaboard, although it occasionally pops up on other news websites. But those I can back-arrow out of, whereas the SB pop ups locked up the browser.

    No, ScubaBoard still suffers from an ad that makes the site nearly unusable. Just checked with a non ad browser.

    So far adblocking browsers or extensions are the only solution I've seen.

    Yeah, I may have to turn to that. It's only this site that seems to be an issue for me. Pretty disappointing as I obviously used to enjoy browsing SB all the time!

    I assume you are getting this on mobile?

    Just download an adblocker browser, set a link on the home screen and use that as if it's your SB app.

    i've gotten this ad pop up hit me while i was on walmart website

    On my iphone I use a vpn called phone guardian, it’s free and available in the App Store.
