My Luxfer 40 is getting hydroed tomorrow and I'm going to have to clean it after.

Does anybody know if the Simple Green Aircraft & Precision 02 is safe and maybe better than the Simple Green Crystal for Al tanks? I've read that the Crystal and standard SGs can be damaging to Al alloys.

I have both on hand.

crystal, unless if you have really greasy tanks then maybe consider using the aircraft first then crystal for the 2nd rinse

Might be worth checking to see if the hydro facility offers oxygen cleaning as well. Where I get my cylinders hydro'd, you can have the cylinder chemically cleaned to O2 standards at the same time.

I can't speak for using either product, but I use blue gold for cylinder tumbling/rinsing.
Well, yea, but I don't have that on hand ATM.

They are both fine
Thanks, gentlemen!

What I really need to find out is if they shot-blast for when it is time for my steels to be done ... All in one would be great, but they are a small local "Jack of all trades" gas shop.

That would great if my shop did that.

The dive shop guy uses dish washing liquid from the supermarket, lavender, yuck!
