Went down to Parc Quintanna Roo to see what was happening. The kids, teens & young adults were having a great time plus the stage had a good crowd watching the show.

For those who don't know where the park is it's between the Mega & Chedroui, across from El Cantil north or kiddy corner to Margaritaville

Port is open today, off to search for mermaids in a few minutes.

Thank you for posting the photos. I was lucky enough to be there last year but will miss this year's Carnival celebration. Hope you'll do a post for the parades as well. It's almost like being there! Have fun!

Looks like a great show. They're putting a lot of work into it.

I hope someone posts some pictures of the floats in the parade. Are any of the dive shops on this forum entering one?

Thanks for the pictures. Good luck with the mermaids.

Sorry ; no mermaids today, & I won't be here for the parades. When we originally planned the trip airfares for Carnaval week were very high (relative) so we booked to be here just before it started.

I must say that the festivities were so loud last night it sounded like it was happening on my front lawn. It did sound like a good time but I was very happy when the music stopped at 11pm.
