Private Car Service from Cancun Airport to the Playa Ferry

Hi,

I'm still up in the air if I'm going to take the ADO bus to get to and from the airport. If I don't take the bus I'd clearly need another method of transportation.

I know there was a referral for a private driver (a single person, not a company), but that post was buried in another thread, and I can't find the post.

If anyone has a referral for a driver I'd like to be given their contact information.

I think it is @cvchief who "has a guy" you've likely read about. If that doesn't work out, I have used Playa del Carmen Tours and they were very good. The driver even stopped at a bank for me so I could withdraw cash at a safe ATM.

I normally use WhatsApp to contact him. Prices are negotiable but last time I used them it was $45-50 USD (plus driver tip) for 1-4. They will stop for cervesa

I just reached out to him, and he quoted me $105usd round trip, which I'm fine with.

I'm thinking a $10usd tip each way, or is that low?

$10 is a respectable tip (19%)
