I recently acquired a Meikon wide angle wet lens for my Olympus housing. The problem is, when I put the lens on there isn't room to slide the strobe connection into place. Has anyone found a work around for this problem? I would love to just get a Backscatter M52 and solve the problem that way but my CFO (wife) doesn't see it my way.

I ended up getting a 52mm diameter/14mm long extension tube and attached it to a 52mm-67mm step up ring. This setup gave me enough clearance for the strobe connector to be used. Total cost was about $12.00, so I figured I'd give it a try and if that doesn't work I'll go the route Patrick suggested.
