I just purchased the Galileo Sol with firmware 1.5 installed - I wanted to insure that I have the most recent hardware- I'm showing a hardware version of 1.1 and ASIC V1.0-1 - is this the latest?

I read up on reasons to upgrade to 1.6 for trimix and 1.7 to backout trimix algo.. So if I'm not planning on diving trimix - then 1.5 should be sufficient correct - no addtional benefits with 1.6 ?

Thank You -

You are correct. HW v1.1 and ASIC v1.01 are the most recent versions. Going forward, firmware v1.5 is sufficient. V1.6 is intended to update the Luna in preparation to upgrade to the Heart Rate Monitor or PMG. Firmware v1.7 is to remove the Trimix algorithm.
