I don't know why I haven't posted in this section of scubaboard before since I live in the Pacific Northwest and do more than half my diving locally. Even though I live in Oregon, I consider BC to be local since I can drive there.

Anyway, I went on a group trip to Quadra Island, just across from Campbell river recently. I wrote this little trip report about it. Hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed living it.

B-

Thanks for the link and the report. Your pictures are great. I'm in Oregon too. Been trying to find a clear week to get up there and dive--Nanaimo, Campbell, Port Hardy, it all sounds amazing.

I'd say it makes me feel like I was there with you but now that I think of it ... I was.

See you next year.

Great report, lots of nice pictures but from me the best part was the DAPS sticker.

So you like that sticker eh? Does that mean you bought a new drysuit?

Nice report diveborg, one little observation though, the current is much less south of Campbell river and in Nanaimo we usually don't get too worried about tidal exchanges. But it is that funnel effect up north that gives us that wonderful display of marine life.
