I have tried a few of my friends backplate/wing systems and looking at buying my own. I came across a site called Golem Gear that has exactly what I want for a reasonable price, (e.g. http://www.golemgear.com/p-163-golem-35-lb-aluminum-combo.aspx).

I just wanted to know if anyone has dove this gear before and what they think of it.

    Thanks

I've had that setup in my hands. I am currently considering one of Golem's double wings. The gear is nice quality stuff, the wings are the toughest I've ever seen, period. I have NOT had one on the water though.
