Question about GoPro 3+ Black and Backscatter Flip3.1

My question is does the backscatter flip 3.1 work wit the standard waterproof house that came with my GoPro and the optional dive house or do you have to specify which housing you own when buying the Flip3.1? I have the standard housing but don't know if I want to buy the dive housing. I'm leaving for a dive trip in a week and want to pick up the flip3.1 but don't want to buy two in the future if I decide to buy the dive housing. Thanks for the help.

The 3.1 side flip or combo is supposed to come with an adapter for the stock 3.1 case. The standard mount is for the UW case which is the original case for the GoPro 3. You should get one anyway. They're not very pricey and they let you go to almost 200ft.
