I have been hunting around for a travel friendly rig and finally i settled the Oxycheq ULTP package. I was actually deciding between the Oxycheq SS Travel BP(ROWB-01-04) and the ULTP.

I like the stability of the metal travel bp but prefers the lightweight of the ULTP...so i was just thinking...why didnt Oxycheq make an alu version of the SS Travel BP?

That would be EXACTLY what i am looking for! :D

We do not make it is Aluminum due to instability. The Aluminum will not maintain its shape over time. The bending of the aluminum would cause the anodizing to crack and then you would have premature oxidation resulting in an additional reduction of stability. Then the cost of it would be close to the SS Travel Plate.

The ULTP is a solid foundation and a lower cost.

Ahh..ok i have neglected the technical aspects of it!
