Raja for 5 days? Worth it?

I agree with Darnold9999. There is a reason why the Sorong airport has a nickname of Sowrong airport! We have spent many many hours there sweating to death waiting for our hours late flights!! Don't cut it close. I would plan a trip to RA when you have lots of time. It is fantastic!!!

Hi Oren,

There are a couple of options and they will keep you under your budget. If you stay in Waisai you can dive at Waiwo Resort. The resort is Rp. 450,000 a night and the diving if you have your own gear is Rp.450,000 per dive.

There is also a Indo resort that is now coming under western management. These Raja Ampat Budget bungalows are 300K per person all inclusive and the diving is the same price. Rp.550K without gear and Rp. 450K with gear.

If you like pristine reefs, lots of fish and corals Raja Ampat is amazing.
