Andrew Georgitsis will be in Los Angeles teaching two Ratio Deco Mini’s, one on Saturday, Sept. 29 and one on Sunday, Sept. 30.

This is a one-day, eight-hour classroom seminar. The first half is understanding the basics of Decompression. Topics include a history of where we came from (Haldan, Bulhman, Workman, Hills, ...) to where we are now (Weinke...). The second half covers the practical aspects of applying your knowledge to actual diving and implementing ratio deco in a variety of examples.

Andrew will cover shaping your deco (exponential shapes, s-curves, O2 windows) for recreational dives, long shallow dives, tech-recreational, technical, deep, and extreme long deep dives. In other words the full gambit. Bring your pen, paper, calculator, and questions.

To reserve a spot, contact Ocean Adventures Dive Company at 310-578-9391 or contact Jeff Seckendorf at 323-314-6501 or jeff@snaproll.com. Cost is $135 payable by check or cash at the class. Space is limited.

Will there be full UN Peacekeeping Forces present too?:rofl3:

Seriously, this is a great seminar. Take this class first before wasting your money on the latest whiz-bang software deco program for your Laptop/PDA, or wrist-worn "Trimix" deco computer with all the fancy bells, buzzers, lights & whistles. And even if you use a software deco program or dive computer, learn how to better optimize a prescribed s/w deco profile with the concepts presented in this class --or optionally just use the actual Ratio Deco Profile as calculated using the algorithm taught by Andrew Georgitsis in this class.

Here's a link to the last hot discussion on Ratio Deco (RD) in this forum. . .
