RDT Trashy Diver Contest

Are you a trashy diver?

When you're scuba diving do you pick-up cans, plastic bags and other items that are not indigenous to the seafloor? Well if so then this contest if for you!
We are challenging all divers who come along with us on our dive trips to pick-up as much trash as they can find. The person who picks up the most items or finds the most unique items will win a 1Gb Thumb Drive. That's it... just come diving with us, pick-up whatever trash you find while diving and win this great prize!
This contest will be repeated for each RDT Dive Trip. There will be one winner every dive trip. Winner will be chosen by an RDT Trip Leader.

Congrats to the RDT's first "Trashy Diver" winner! Raleigh, SD Dude, Moody! Raleigh found the most unique piece of trash during the World Oceans Day dives onboard the Peace Dive boat. Fortunately there was not much trash among the sites we dove, but his length of "caution" tape was certainly the most unique.

Let's keep it up! Trash is harmful to our beloved marine environment and superior divers like Raleigh are there to help keep it pristine! Bravo!

:D :D

I applaud RTD's contest. I think it is a great incentive for divers to do their part in helping to keep the ocean clean.

Of course there is the other side of the coin too. Divers should do this without any added incentive. I know that I do.

Congrats to the first winner!!! May there be many more.
