Recommendations for a good Shoulder Pad

Chances are, this advice has all been for naught.
 
Agree with previous posts... padding is not necessary. I just got the Halcyon Infinity and the first thing I did was remove the padding. I bought the entire system as I wanted the cinch harness, STA, and integrated weights so it was cheaper to just buy the entire rig and then remove the padding (didn't want the added buoyancy and the need for extra weight). I dive with a 3 mm shorty in the Summer and the webbing is fine and does not bother me at all in the water... the shoulder straps shouldn't be too tight anyway as it will restrict mobility and ease of arm movement.
