Geezus. You wouldn't see me leaving that cage in those waters. Short distance or not.
Yeah, I think an ROV would be preferable if at all possible....

Looking at the water colour, they may be doing it all by feel. Remember the old joke about not having to worry about sharks in Darwin ........the salt water crocs eat them all
