Tough job here doing body recovery in poor visibility with local fauna known for eaten people, buffalo, 44 gallon drums really anything in the water.

Yeah, I think an ROV would be preferable if at all possible....
 
Looking at the water colour, they may be doing it all by feel. Remember the old joke about not having to worry about sharks in Darwin ........the salt water crocs eat them all
