The Reeler from Spectrum Diving Equipment Inc. is now shipping

Spectrum Diving Equipment Inc.
May 30th. Shamokin Pa

The Reeler is a revolutionary shift in dive reel design. This unique and innovative reel makes using a reel easier than ever before. You just hold and wind in, no line tending, no bird nests, no tangles, no uneven line build up, and no more hassles.

Divers will appreciate these added features
Line leveler and tensioning system (eliminates line tending and allows 67% more line).
Adjustable spool drag (prevents free spooling)
Spool lock
Line out indicator
Ergonomic handle
Flashlight accessory slot

Dennis Kaleta, inventor of the diving reel and president of Spectrum Diving Equipment Inc., has spent over two years in research and development of these features and systems. He states that only top quality components are used in manufacturing this product. The body is molded out of a PC/ABS blend, and 316 stainless steel is used on exposed metal. The leveler is plated for salt water use. These specialized components and quality assurance details delayed the introduction of the Reeler until now.

As part of the R&D, the Reeler was demonstrated to hundreds of divers with great success at numerous trade shows. Dive shops around the country have expressed interest in becoming dealers and SDE is signing them up. The company also received interest from dealers and distributors around the world.

Mr. Kaleta stated that the company goal is to manufacture exceptional pieces of equipment while doing its part to support American manufacturing. I am proud to say the Reeler is built in the USA with over 90% USA made components and is pprotected by US Patent #7,455,257
