Regulator parts

I have a Proton Ice Reg that started to have problems last Sept. I took it to my LDS to get it fixed. It has been there since and he is telling me that the parts are being back ordered for it. I have seen the invoice with the back order and I am wondering why I can not get the parts for the reg. The reg was not even in use for a year. Please let me know what the problem is

Another case of dealers making up excuses and blaming the distributor?:shakehead :shakehead I've seen this all too often in other industries... And I still don't see why they do it! Just order the damn parts, fix the reg and collect the fee (whatever that will be).
