I'm no expert, but I think a 75% loss is more likely.

We are hitting 70%-73% recovery. But that is with 3 pots of 5 micron prefilters before the RO stacks.

To put the costs in perspective...
I am the Treasurer for my neighborhoods community water system, ~330 homes. We are a 501c(12) non-profit. We have a tiered rate structure. Our Base rate (0 - the first 6,000 gallons) is $6.00 per 1,000 gallons. 6,000 - 9,000 gallons per month you pay $9.00 per 1,000 gallons. If you're a real water waster, > 9,000 gallons per month you pay $18.00 per 1,000.

I say use the water to flush a toilet or two. :bounce:
