Removing violet indicator dye from canister

Hydrochloric did the job. Most of it is now removed. But took an hour rubbing...

So, I have some sofnolime with violet dye available, and will follow @JohnnyC's advice :)

perhaps some soaking and then some brushing or wiping and then just some rinsing
